Organic Advocacy is an advocacy and consulting agency with roots in the organic food industry’s beginnings in the 1980s. The agency took shape under the leadership of Larry Lenhardt, an agricultural specialist with more than 25 years of experience in the industry.


Larry actively championed certification for production, processing, marketing and regulation of the organic food industry across Canada, and in the Northeastern US, Eastern Europe, South America and the Caribbean. He established an impressive Canadian-based international certification agency, which he managed for 16 years, and served on numerous related committees, all the while maintaining his interests in community and environmental bodies.



Larry Lenhardt is a Professional Agrologist, a Horticulturalist, a retired College Professor and a Master Gardener with eclectic interests. He and his associates have much to offer in support of your organic endeavors.
